Kaye Avery
Grad. Dip Career Development, CPANZ, HRINZ
NLP and MBTI Practitioner
Kaye
is a Career Coach and Transition Consultant with specialist expertise
in career and personal development. Known for her holistic approach, Kaye
works with employees and groups at all levels and diverse industries during organisational and individual career and life transitions. Working with people affected by redundancy, self driven career change, performance
improvement through improved job alignment, identity redefinition at midlife
and later life, retirement planning and personal development are all aspects of her work.
Facilitating groups of employees or course participants in a wide range of courses
is also something Kaye has significant experience in. Courses range from Managing
Change and Understanding Team Type, to Creating Team Values Alignment, 'Careering Beyond 50 & 60' and practical
Job Search workshops for employees affected by organisational change.
Professional Profile
Kaye’s 10 years of experience in career consulting includes 2.5 years working as an associate to a global HR consultancy, whilst also running her private practice and 5 years in a permanent role with full responsibility for coordinating the Career and Transition Consulting service in New Zealand for a privately owned HR consultancy.
Education and Training
Kaye has a Graduate Diploma in Career Development and is undertaking a Masters
in Career Development. She is also a trained NLP Practitioner. Kaye is a Professional Member of the Career Practitioners
Association of New Zealand (CPANZ) and the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand (HRINZ).

Gerri Power
Gerri Power is considered one of Australasia’s most experienced Resilience
Coaches and Mentors. For over 10 years she has trained, mentored and supervised
managers and leaders in developing their resilient leadership skills.
Gerri
has a background that includes senior roles as an organisational consultant
and as national manager for a mentoring organisation. She brings a depth of
experience and insight to her role as a coach and mentor which is backed by
comprehensive training and certification in New Zealand and Australia. Gerri
has significant experience also in supporting people through organisational
change, offering practical skills and development to manage transitions.
Gerri’s approach when mentoring and coaching
includes building awareness of the impact of conversations on team dynamics,
engaging and motivating others during change, and the influence of thinking
styles on communication and insightful decision making.

Peter Fleming
Peter
has been conducting specialised seminars and personal consultations for many
years in the areas of retirement planning from a financial perspective. Peter
is co-facilitator with Kaye Avery for the Retirement Planning Workshops they
offer corporate clients for their older employees. Amongst Peter’s relevant
training, qualifications and experience are, forty plus years experience in
the Financial Services Industry (including Watson Wyatt (NZ) Ltd., William
M. Mercer Ltd, Tower Corporation, NZI Life and Mercer HR Consulting Ltd and
Melville Jessup Weaver).
Peter managed Watson Wyat’s subsidiary business “Retirement Planning Seminars
(NZ) Ltd” for a number of years and developed their very successful one-day
Retirement Planning Seminar.
Peter holds the Preliminary Certificate in Financial Planning (IPAC) and has had training and experience in Personal Money Management (personal budgeting), Strategic Planning for Retirement, Seminar Organisation and Presentations (Winston Marsh & Associates (Australia), Personal Motivation Techniques (S.M.I.), Presentation Training (Rogen (NZ), Strategic Investment Planning (William M. Mercer Ltd).
