Supporting Change and Career Transitions
Managing Change
Managing Change workshops are designed to equip line managers to manage the impact change has on themselves and on their employees. It provides tools to help them to support their people and maintain morale.
Similarly after the announcement Managing Change workshops help all employees to deal with the uncertainty of protracted change, to take personal responsibility for their feelings and behaviours and provide tools that help them to support others.
Career Transition or Outplacement
Outplacement programmes are designed to suit any level of role
and are flexible to meet the needs of the individual or size
of the project.
Individual Outplacement programmes usually offer one to six months
of support beginning during notice period right through to acquiring
new employment or Transition or Career Change readiness. Programmes
typically cover career evaluation and assessment to determine
direction and best options; creating a competitive job search
strategy; CV review/writing; interview skills coaching and job
offer/negotiation support.
Group Outplacement
Group Outplacement programmes work well and are cost effective for groups of people of a similar function or level in the business. A mix of group workshops and one on one work give people the best of both worlds; group experience normalises the situation and the additional one on one support ensures that individual needs are met. Workshops cover Career Evaluation and Decision Making, CV Writing, Creating an Effective Job Search, and Interview Skills.
Career Decision Making Support
When employees need to decide whether to apply for an internal role or to accept redundancy during the tenuous process of restructuring, neutral and expert facilitation to explore options is invaluable.
Professional Review
The Professional Review is the perfect process for busy senior level people in work and for those whose roles have been disestablished through organisational restructuring. It offers a reflective forum in which to review your life and career and make provision for what is ahead. A structured two hour session gives space to reviewing the past, looking at the present and planning for the future. If you wish, the dialogue can be recorded and summarised during the process for you to reflect on. Follow up sessions are recommended.
Career Management and Career Development
For a workforce to enjoy full engagement of their employees people need to be well aligned and motivated by what they do and intentional about their own development. A Career Management programme evaluates strengths, areas for development, values alignment and interests and aspirations to clarify career direction, goals and objectives
Resilience Workshops and Individual Coaching
After organisational change those who stay on usually have shifted their views on the organisation and their relationship to it. Alliance partner Gerri Power helps teams and individuals to identify the internal power of resilience which shifts their reliance on the external structures or security to an internal self assurance and taking personal responsibility.
